Introduction:
Sabudana vada also called ‘sago vada’, is a traditional deep fried snack from Maharashtra, India. It is often served with spicy green chutney and along with hot chai and is best eaten fresh.
Ingredients:
- 2 Cups of Oil
- 2 Cups of Boiled Potato
- 1 Cup of Onions
- 3 Cups of Sabudana
- 4 Green chili
- Sufficient Salt
- Some Cooking Soda
- Corainder Leaves
- 2 Tsp Cumin Seeds
Procedure:
- Initially try to squeeze the potato until it becomes soft
- Sabudana should be soaked for 2 hrs before it is mixed with potato
- Now mix both potato and wet sabudana properly
- Now add onions, chili, cumin seeds, salt, corainder leaves and cooking soda in order
- Then mix it Gently and then mixture will be ready for making vadas
- Heat 2 cups of Oil in a Pan
- Put the oil on to your palms
- Make the vadas in round shape and drop it slowly in oil
- All vadas should be reversed regularly until they change into brown color
- Take the Aaloo vada into the plate carefully
- Hot Aaloo Sabudana vada is ready to serve with curd
