Ingredients:
Initially how to cut bottle gourd:
- Initially peel the bottle gourd completely with the help of peeler.
- Then cut them into large pieces.
- Now remove the seeds with the help of your hands.
- Then cut them into small pieces.
- Wash it in a bowl in such a way that, the pieces should be removed collectively with the help of your hands slowly and put it in separate plate.
Total Ingredients required:
- One Tsp coriander powder.
- Sufficient coriander leaves.
- Sufficient curry leaves.
- Sufficient oil
- Seven green chili.
- One Tsp Mustard and Cumin Seeds.
- Sufficient Salt.
- One Tsp Turmeric Powder.
- One onion
- One Tsp Ginger Garlic Paste.
- One Spoon of Coconut powder.
- 500 gms of Bottle gourd pieces.
Making of Bottle Gourd Recipe:
Initially heat the pan and put the stove in high flame.
Once the pan is heated now add the sufficient oil and wait for the oil to heat.
Now once the oil is heated put the stove in low flame and add the mustard seeds and cumin seeds.
Once they are popped up, add green chili and curry leaves, fry them properly until the chili changes into the color of brownish white, which is the best indicator of frying.
Now add the onions and mix it properly, allow them for one or two minutes so that they become soft.
Once the onions become soft, add coriander leaves, ginger garlic paste and turmeric powder. Mix it in such a way that the paste should be distributed evenly and nicely. Turmeric powder helps you in killing of bacteria if there are any. So allow for one minute.
After completion of one minute add coconut powder, distribute evenly and nicely, then allow for one more minute.
After completion of one minute now add the bottle gourd pieces and sufficient salt. Mix it slowly so that the flavor of the salt should reach the every corner of bottle gourd pieces and become more tastier. Allow the stove for 5 to 6 minutes in medium flame.
In between after completion of 2 or 3 minutes, mix it slowly once again, we can just see the bottle gourd pieces coming close to each other. So allow for the remaining period of time which is of 4 minutes.
After completion of 4 minutes, put the stove in low flame, we can just see how the oil is formed right at the top layer of bottle gourd pieces and also the pieces changes into the color of full greenish which is the indication of final stage of curry. Now add the coriander powder, mix it slowly and allow for final one minute.
After completion of one minute, we will be done with curry, take it into the bowl very carefully.
