Line and Lengths For Left Arm Spin Bowling

Right Handed Batsman

Well for a RHB from around the wicket the good line to bowl will always range from leg stump line to off stump line infact the ball has to be pitched in line.

And the length of the ball has to be maintained between 3 to 5 yards of length for any kind of batsmen (RHB or LHB) bowled from any side of the wicket.

At the end of the ball should be pitched in leg stump line, middle and leg stump line, middle stump line, middle and off stump line, off stump line.

Ball pitching extreme outside the off stump line is not the good line to bowl since if it pitches out side the off stump line and moves away from the RHB, the batsman can easily free his hands to play dangerous shots like horizontal and cross bat shots.

Well now for the same RHB, from over the wicket, the good line to bowl will always be in and around the leg stump line.

At the end of the day the ball should be pitched in good outside the leg stump line, just outside the leg stump line, on leg stump line, middle and leg stump line, middle stump line.

Ball pitching outside the middle stump line is not the good line to bowl since if it pitches out side the middle stump line and moves away from the RHB, the batsman can easily free his hands to play dangerous shots like horizontal and cross bat shots.

Well for a LHB, from over the wicket, the good line to bowl will always be in and around the off stump line.

And as said earlier, the length of the ball has to be maintained between 3 to 5 yards of length for any kind of batsmen (RHB or LHB) bowled from any side of the wicket.

At the end of the day the ball should be pitched in, away from outside the off stump line, good outside the off stump line, little away from outside the off stump line, just near outside the off stump line, on off stump line.

Ball pitching on extreme outside the off stump line is not the good line to bowl, since it pitches far from outside the off stump line and moves into the LHB the batsman can easily free his hands to play dangerous shots like horizontal and cross bat shots.

Well now for the same LHB, from around the wicket, the good line to bowl will always be in and around the off stump line.

Ball pitching on extreme outside the off stump line is not the good line to bowl, since it pitches far from outside the off stump line and moves into the LHB the batsman can easily free his hands to play dangerous shots like horizontal and cross bat shots.

Finally you can also try some yorker length deliveries with some good flight.

Well at the end of the day a classical left arm spinning delivery is a ball which actually should be pitched always in line between 3 to 5 yards of length and is allowed to move away from right handed batsman.
